Bull Meadow

The 20 acres of land purchased by the Parish Council in 2019 has been officially named as Bull Meadow by the Parish Council at the July meeting.

Invitation to tender for masterplan

North Claines Parish Council is inviting companies to tender for a masterplan, business case and feasibility study for the provision of public open space in Fernhill Heath. The land recently acquired by the Parish Council on the A38 is the site in question. Please see the comprehensive invitation to tender documents in the financial documents section of the website.

Naming of the New Recreational area in Fernhill Heath – The Bull Meadow

The name for the new land (bought by the parish council on behalf of the parishioners of Fernhill Heath) is to be discussed at the Parish Council meeting on Monday 6 July at 19.30. The proposed name is to be Bull Meadow.

The original Bull Inn was on the site of the present day Fernhill Heath House and maps from the 1700’s record the adjacent land being called Bull Meadows. Any comments are welcome.


The safety of re-opening the Brum play area is to be discussed at the Parish Council meeting on Monday 6th July and re-opened shortly afterwards.

Local Shops

The Parish Council has written to all the local shops in Fernhill Heath to thank them for their work in assisting the community during the coronavirus lockdown

Financial help during coronavirus period.

Wychavon District Council have a scheme to offer limited financial support to  voluntary groups and organisations trying to give support at this time to vulnerable sections of the community. The support cannot be offered to individuals or businesses and it cannot be given to any suffering personal financial difficulties.
